On May 19, our church family adopted a new Constitution and Bylaws. Among several updates, the annual meeting was moved from the fourth Tuesday in January to the fourth Tuesday in August. The new documents also streamlined the organization of our ministry teams to better support the mission and ministry of Lockwood Community Church.

As we prepare for our upcoming annual meeting, the Nominating Committee is inviting nominations for the following ministry team leadership positions:

  • Kingdom Investors Team Leader

  • Emergency Preparedness Team Leader

  • Buildings and Grounds Team Leader

  • Administrative Team Leader

These individuals will serve a three-year term and help provide leadership and direction for these important ministry areas.

The Nominating Committee is also accepting nominations for additional Deacons and Elders.

Before submitting a nomination, please review the qualifications and responsibilities outlined in the Constitution and Bylaws. We encourage all Covenant Partners to familiarize themselves with these recently adopted documents and the changes they contain.

To nominate someone, please contact the church office. All nominations will be forwarded to the Nominating Committee for consideration.

You can view the Constitution and Bylaws here: LCC Constitution & Bylaws

Please join us in praying that God would raise up qualified and willing servants to help lead and support the ministries of Lockwood Community Church.

Thank you to everyone who helped with and attended Lockwood’s first Plant Swap! It was a wonderful success and a great time of fellowship. There were many enjoyable conversations, new connections were made, and plenty of plants were shared. Best of all, everyone left with more plants than they brought! We are grateful for all who contributed to making the event such a fun and encouraging time together.
